Senator Barau Jibrin Hails APC’s Victory in Ondo Gubernatorial Election
In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, Senator Barau Jibrin, Deputy President of the Senate and APC’s Kano North representative, has praised the party’s victory in the Ondo State governorship election. He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a free and fair election.
Jibrin also extended his gratitude to the national chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, for his effective leadership, which has contributed to the party’s recent electoral successes in Ondo, Imo, Kogi, and Edo states.
According to Jibrin, “The APC’s victory in the Ondo State governorship election is a testament to the party’s popularity and a demonstration of the people’s confidence in its leadership. It is not just a win for the APC, but a victory for democracy and the people of Ondo State.”
Jibrin also hailed the election as a reaffirmation of the confidence of the people of Ondo State in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership. He urged the governor-elect, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, to prioritize inclusivity and work with all stakeholders to drive the development of Ondo State. Additionally, Jibrin called on opposition candidates to support efforts aimed at moving the state forward.
