Niger Tornadoes’ Technical Adviser Takes Pride in Team Despite Loss
Majin Mohammed, the technical adviser of Niger Tornadoes, proudly praised his team despite suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat against El-Kanemi Warriors in their latest Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match. The loss may have been painful, but Mohammed saw it as an opportunity for his team to grow and learn.
“We’ll take this experience and build on it,” Mohammed said after the match. “We’ll focus on our next challenges and work together as a team to achieve better results.”
Niger Tornadoes currently sits in ninth place on the table with 17 points, and Mohammed is optimistic that his team can turn their season around.
Meanwhile, Lobi Stars’ technical adviser, Daniel Amokachi, is undeterred by his team’s recent struggles. Despite a sixth loss of the season to Sunshine Stars, Amokachi is committed to addressing his team’s weaknesses and improving their performance.
“We created plenty of scoring chances, but unfortunately, we couldn’t capitalize on them,” Amokachi lamented. “This season has been tough, but we’re willing to reassess our strategy and continue working towards improvement.”
In a match against Lobi Stars, Sunshine Stars secured a 1-0 win thanks to Promise Awosanmi’s solo goal. Coach Bobola Akinfolarin praised his team for their excellent teamwork and commitment. The win takes Sunshine Stars to 11th place on the league table, with 16 points.
“This victory is a testament to the hard work of our players, management, and supporters,” Akinfolarin said. “Now, we’re focusing on our next match against Enyimba International FC.”
Rivers United’s technical adviser, Finidi George, was pleased with his team’s performance in a goalless draw against Remo Stars. Both teams failed to score, but Finidi George believed that his team deserved more.
“It was a solid game from our players, and we created plenty of chances,” Finidi George said. “We feel like we deserved more than just a point, but a draw is still a great result.”
