APC Congratulates Ondo Governor on Re-Election Victory
Naijawebinfo reports that Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has emerged victorious in the recent gubernatorial election, securing 366,781 votes across all 18 local government areas of the state.
In a statement, the All Progressives Congress (APC) praised Governor Aiyedatiwa’s re-election as a testament to the effectiveness of his administration’s policies and campaign message, which resonated deeply with the electorate.
The party also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and the people of Ondo for their roles in ensuring a smooth election process.
The statement read: “The APC heartily congratulates Governor Aiyedatiwa on his re-election. His resounding victory is a clear indication that his administration’s policies and programmes, as well as his campaign message of hope and consolidation, have struck a chord with the people of Ondo State.”
The party expressed confidence that Governor Aiyedatiwa will build upon his accomplishments and take the state to greater heights of social and economic development, benefiting the people of Ondo State.
The APC also acknowledged the professionalism and patriotism of INEC and security agencies during the election, and thanked the Ondo electorate for their sustained support of the party.
The declaration of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory was made by the State Returning Officer, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, at the State Collation Centre in Akure.
