2024 Rivers State Congress Will Hold Saturday- APC

A prominent APC leader in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has praised the party’s growing influence under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership.

Oyintiloye expressed confidence in the party’s future electoral successes, citing its recent landslide victory in the Ondo State governorship poll as a testament to its popularity.

As a member of the APC National Campaign Stakeholders Engagement Committee for the election, Oyintiloye congratulated the governor-elect, Lucky Ayedatiwa, and hailed the party’s dominance at the polls.

Ayedatiwa secured a resounding 366,781 votes, leaving the PDP candidate, Agboola Ajayi, with 117,845 votes, according to reports from Naijawebinfo.

Oyintiloye attributed the result to the electorate’s trust in APC’s leadership and Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, stating that the outcome was a vindication of earlier predictions.

“The massive votes we received have indeed shocked opposition parties, particularly the PDP,” he said. “This landslide victory demonstrates that the masses and electorate in Ondo State still have faith in APC and President Tinubu’s administration.”

Oyintiloye also expressed optimism about APC’s performance in upcoming off-cycle elections, crediting the party’s growing strength under Tinubu’s presidency for its recent electoral successes.

“From Kogi to Edo and now Ondo, we have demonstrated our growing strength. With Anambra, Ekiti, and Osun elections coming up, we are confident that APC will continue to deliver,” he said.

Oyintiloye urged Ayedatiwa to adopt a magnanimous approach to governance and focus on fulfilling campaign promises, while commending the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for ensuring a free, fair, and credible electoral process.

He also praised the peaceful conduct of the electorate, saying that their trust in APC’s leadership and Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda was a testament to the party’s continued relevance.
