Galatasaray’s Manager Vows to Keep Victor Osimhen Despite Release Clause
Okan Buruk, the Turkish club’s manager, has reaffirmed Galatasaray’s commitment to retaining the services of Victor Osimhen, despite the presence of a release clause in his contract.
Buruk emphasized that the final decision lies with the player, who has already expressed his desire to see out the season-long loan. The Nigerian striker has been in impressive form since joining Galatasaray from Napoli, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in just nine appearances.
In a press conference, Buruk revealed that the club is willing to push its financial limits to keep Osimhen, stating that if the player wants to stay, Galatasaray will do everything in its power to retain him.
Osimhen’s intention to stay with the club until the end of the season has been consistent since his arrival, and Buruk is confident that the player will honor his commitment. The manager acknowledged that there is a clause allowing Osimhen to join another club in January, but stressed that the player’s desire to stay takes precedence.
