APC Chieftain Jesutega Onokpasa Takes Aim at Tinubu over Daniel Bwala Appointment
Naijawebinfo reported that Daniel Bwala, a former campaign aide to PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, has been reappointed as Special Adviser on Policy Communication by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a heated video, Onokpasa expressed outrage over Bwala’s appointment, recalling the derogatory comments Bwala made about Tinubu and APC leaders during the 2023 campaign.
Onokpasa accused Tinubu of humiliating and betraying those who worked tirelessly to secure his victory at the polls.
“My dear President, I’m incensed by this appointment,” Onokpasa declared. “You’ve insulted and marginalized those of us who worked for your success. Daniel Bwala, who called you a drug dealer and humiliated us all, has been rewarded for his disloyalty.
“I’m bewildered by this decision. What has happened to your values, Your Excellency? You’ve attacked those who supported you, and now you’re giving positions to those who fought against us. I don’t need your patronage, but it’s a travesty that you’re prioritizing those who opposed us.
“It’s disturbing that you’re bringing in someone who lacks integrity, a slippery character who doesn’t know where he stands. We were the ones who empowered you to get into office. God used us to put you there, not these opportunistic individuals who have no qualms about betraying their former allies.
