Tinubu’s Spokesmen Flog Citizens with Criticism of Past Governments

No Tinubu Spokesman Has Right To Criticize Past Govts, They’re Flogging Citizens – Macaroni

Nollywood Star and Comedian Debo Adedayo, Known as Mr Macaroni, Speaks Out Against Criticism of Past Governments

Renowned comedian and Nollywood star Debo Adedayo, aka Mr Macaroni, has condemned the actions of officials in President Bola Tinubu’s administration who criticize past governments. In a scathing social media post, Macaroni accused the government of prioritizing its own interests over those of the citizens.

While reacting to an attack on former President Olusegun Obasanjo by Tinubu’s aides, Macaroni stated that only those who have been victims of past governments’ poor governance have the right to criticize former leaders.

In his opinion, it is only those who have been directly affected by the mistakes of the past that have the right to speak out against them. Government officials, he believes, have no moral authority to criticize past governments when they are themselves complicit in the country’s current woes.

Macaroni emphasized that it is Nigerians themselves who have the right to hold past and present leaders accountable for their actions. He believes that all politicians, past and present, have contributed to the country’s problems and that it is up to the people to demand accountability.

In his words, “The people have the right to call out or criticize any politician or government, past or present. Not the spokespersons of the current government who continue to squander billions on luxury items while the citizens suffer.”

He also criticized citizens who defend the bad policies of politicians for personal gain, calling them “opportunistic” and “selfish.” Macaroni argued that these individuals are immune to the suffering of others and only care about their own interests.

He lamented that some Nigerians are willing to defend their oppressors, despite the harm they cause. Macaroni believes that these individuals are oblivious to the pain and suffering they endure due to the poor governance of politicians.

Macaroni urged Nigerians to unite against politicians who are responsible for the country’s hardship and poor governance. He implored citizens to stand together and demand accountability from their leaders.
