Nigeria’s Chidimma Adetshina beaming with pride after historic Miss Universe performance
As the 73rd Miss Universe competition came to a close in Mexico, Nigeria’s representative, Chidimma Adetshina, couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of pride and accomplishment.
In a heartfelt social media post, Chidimma thanked her devoted fans, particularly Nigerians and Africans, for their unwavering support throughout her journey.
She emphasized the significance of their faith in her, stating that it played a crucial role in her success and ultimate achievement as the first runner-up.
Chidimma also extended her gratitude to her core supporters for their encouragement and blessings throughout her path to the global stage.
Although Denmark’s Victoria Kjaer Theilvig took home the Miss Universe 2024 title, Chidimma’s historic achievement as the first runner-up marks a momentous occasion for Nigeria and Africa in the pageant’s history.
In her post, Chidimma wrote: “I stepped onto the global stage, took a deep breath, and left my mark.
