Israel DMW, the logistics manager for popular Nigerian singer Davido, has expressed gratitude to his boss following a recent trip to the United States.
Naijawebinfo reports that Israel shared his experiences on his Instagram page, where he raved about the beauty of America. He noted that the country is just 46 minutes away from heaven, which he believes is a sign of its spiritual significance.
In his post, Israel also thanked Davido, the Edo people, and all Nigerians for their support. He wrote, “It’s like being just 46 minutes away from heaven when you arrive in America. A five-year visa is all I needed. I want to express my gratitude to God, my boss, and the entire team that made this trip possible. I’m also grateful to my Edo people and all Nigerians who have supported me throughout my journey.”
Meanwhile, Davido has announced that he will be donating ₦300 million to orphanages across Nigeria through his foundation.
Davido made the announcement on his Twitter handle, stating that the funds will be used to support orphanages and a charity that helps young people overcome drug addiction. He encouraged his fans to stay tuned for more information about the donation.
Davido founded the Davido Adeleke Foundation in 2022 to help vulnerable children. In July 2023, his foundation donated over ₦200 million to orphanages in Nigeria, benefiting over 13,818 children. The singer has promised to make further donations in the future.
