Oyo State Sets to Empower Education with 5,600 New Primary School Teachers and 80 Caregivers
Naijawebinfo recently reported that the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) has made significant strides in its recruitment efforts, announcing the appointment of 5,600 primary school teachers and 80 caregivers under the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde.
The appointment, which has received official approval from Governor Makinde, marks the first wave of hires from the recent recruitment process conducted by OYOSUBEB.
According to Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, Chairman of the SUBEB, applicants are encouraged to verify their status by visiting the job portal, which will be accessible starting Saturday, November 23, 2024.
The selected candidates will participate in a verification process at the Board’s headquarters, where they will receive details on the verification dates and any additional information they may require.
In a statement, Dr. Adeniran emphasized that the recruitment process was devoid of any political, religious, ethnic, or gender biases, with selections based solely on merit.
The Chairman encouraged the newly appointed teachers to view their roles as a significant responsibility, highlighting the importance of diligence and commitment in their work.
The recruitment process is ongoing, with plans to hire more successful applicants in the future, as outlined by Dr. Adeniran.
