Lagos LP Governorship Candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, Denies Rumors of Defecting to APC
In a statement shared on his social media platform, Rhodes-Vivour categorically denied the spreading rumors that he plans to switch to the All Progressives Congress (APC). He described the APC as a gathering of wicked individuals and a congregation of jesters, emphasizing that it has never crossed his mind to join the party.
The LP governorship candidate stated that he is unlike some people who protest against those in power and then take appointments from them again. He stressed that he will never join the APC, as some individuals are needed to keep the government accountable.
Sharing a video, Rhodes-Vivour wrote, “The news making the rounds that I’m joining the APC is false. I have no reason to join the gathering of the wicked or fellowship in the congregation of jesters. Just like I have done since the beginning of my political career, I stand firmly with the people who deserve better than what the APC has delivered over the last 24 years.”
