Wike’s aide Jackson Ude vs Udeh on social media over alleged Aso Rock blockage

Nigerians Will Be Reluctant To Pay Taxes If There Is Nothing To Show For It — Wike

Media aide Lere Olayinka and journalist Jackson Ude are locked in a heated social media dispute.

The fight centers around allegations that Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike was blocked from entering the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.

Naijawebinfo reports that Jackson had initially claimed Wike was denied access to the villa due to drunkenness.

According to Jackson, a security officer from the presidential villa informed him that Wike was turned away because he was intoxicated.

However, Wike’s media aide quickly refuted the claim, releasing a statement that said the FCT Minister received the Indian Prime Minister as instructed by President Bola Tinubu.

The dispute reignited when Lere shared a post about Jackson being fined $10,000 by a US court for defamation, labeling the journalist a serial liar.

Lere wrote, “In the United States, Jackson Ude, a serial liar, was ordered to pay $10,000 in damages by a District Court in Pennsylvania.”

Jackson responded by threatening Lere, saying, “If you want to go to war with me, prepare yourself. I will dismantle you and your drunken boss, and you’ll lose your job. I’m not your equal in journalism.”

Jackson also accused Lere of being poorly educated, saying, “You need to return to school to understand what you just posted. But hey, let’s do this. You don’t need a job anyway.”

Lere accepted the challenge, writing, “Let the war begin. You’ll soon learn that you’ve picked the wrong person to mess with this time.”
