APC Denies PDP’s Claim of Secretariat Destruction

‘Your Allegation Is Baseless’ – APC Fires PDP Over Allegation Of Destroying Party’s Secretariat

Edo APC Rejects Allegations of Wrecking PDP Headquarters

In a shocking turn of events, the Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has vehemently denied allegations of destroying the party secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

According to reports by Naijawebinfo, a group of thugs allegedly led by Kapuepue, the younger brother of Tony Adun, popularly known as Tony Kabaka, invaded the PDP secretariat in Edo State, wreaking havoc and destroying valuable properties worth millions of naira.

The attackers, suspected to be affiliated with the APC, left a trail of destruction, vandalizing doors, windows, and office equipment at the PDP Secretariat. They made off with several electronic devices, computers, and other valuable items during the invasion.

Witnesses described the scene as chaotic, with the thugs seemingly intent on causing harm to anyone who crossed their path.

In response to the incident, the Publicity Secretary of the Edo PDP Caretaker Committee, Chris Osa Nehikhare, condemned the attack, calling it a desperate and reckless attempt to intimidate the PDP.

He urged security agencies to investigate the incident and bring those responsible to justice, warning against further attempts to destabilize the PDP in Edo State.

The APC, however, took a different stance, dismissing the allegations as baseless. In an interview with Punch, the Publicity Secretary of the APC, Peter Uwadiae-Igbinigie, questioned the evidence presented by the PDP, wondering if the attackers were even wearing APC uniforms.

Uwadiae-Igbinigie urged the PDP to focus on its internal problems, rather than dragging the APC into its internal conflicts.

The APC chieftain also emphasized that the current government in the state was already working on a project that the previous PDP government had failed to implement, aimed at improving the lives of Edo State residents.

In his words, “The allegation that APC thugs attacked the PDP office is baseless and lacks concrete evidence. We urge the PDP to address its internal issues and refrain from involving the APC in its messy affairs.”

The APC government in the state is committed to delivering results that will benefit the people, and we will continue to work towards that goal.”
