Yemi Alade: “Major Media Outlets Are Blacklisting Me”

‘My God Will Fight For Me’ – Yemi Alade Blows Hot, Accuses Popular Media Organisations Of Blacklisting Her

Nigerian Singer Yemi Alade Slams Cool FM and Clout Africa for Backlisting Her Music

According to a recent post on Yemi Alade’s social media handle, the Grammy-nominated singer has been at odds with popular radio stations Cool FM and Clout Africa. The feud reportedly began when they dropped her music catalogue after she failed to attend one of their events, and the singer claims it’s been a year since the issue has remained unresolved.

Yemi Alade has tried to apologize to the station owners, but they have refused to forgive and have instead chosen to maintain their stance. The singer expressed her frustration and disappointment in a social media post, stating that she and her team have achieved great things worldwide, meeting important individuals, including presidents, and resolving any issues along the way. However, she claims that Cool FM and Clout Africa have been inflexible and unwilling to settle the matter.

In her post, Yemi Alade wrote, “You’re insisting on holding me accountable for an entire year over a missed event, while I’ve apologized and even made attempts to reach out to the relevant authorities, only to be met with silence. You’re not gatekeepers, and you’re not gods. My God will take care of me, and I will learn to live with my peace.”

She also slammed the station owners, stating, “Instead of being decent and clearing up a misunderstanding caused by carelessness, you’ve chosen to embargo my music and cause problems for my team. Remove my entire catalogue from your stations immediately.”
