Ondo governorship election: 11 parties, including Labour Party and NNPP, approve results

Aiyedatiwa: Labour Party, NNPP, APGA, 10 Other Parties Back Ondo Gubernatorial Election Results

Candidates from multiple political parties that participated in the recent Ondo State governorship election have signaled their acceptance of the outcome and pledged to work alongside Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to drive the state’s growth.

At a meeting held at the Government House in Akure, the state capital, candidates and their party chairmen reaffirmed their commitment to collaborate with the governor to build a thriving Ondo State.

Representatives from 13 political parties attended the meeting, including the Accord, Action Alliance, Allied Peoples Movement, and others. They urged Governor Aiyedatiwa to extend an olive branch to opposition parties, acknowledging that collective efforts would ultimately benefit the state.

In response, Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed his gratitude for the candidates’ willingness to support his administration, stressing that their cooperation would be valued and respected.

He emphasized his commitment to inclusive governance, ensuring that all political parties would have a stake in the state’s development.

The governor called on all stakeholders to join forces in meeting their shared responsibility of nurturing Ondo State’s progress, vowing to maintain a government that prioritizes inclusivity and collaboration.
