YouTuber Jake Paul Wants to Take on Boxer Anthony Joshua

YouTuber Jake Paul Wishes To Face Anthony Joshua

YouTube sensation Jake Paul sets his sights on boxing’s biggest stage, eager to face Anthony Joshua

In the wake of his impressive win over Mike Tyson, the idea of Jake Paul becoming a heavyweight contender is more plausible than ever. According to his promotional partner Nakisa Bidarian, Paul is keen to make his mark in the cruiserweight division and potentially challenge established heavyweights like Anthony Joshua.

During a recent interview with Sky Sports, Bidarian revealed that Paul is interested in facing Joshua or other heavyweight contenders like Daniel Dubois. While some may view this as an ambitious move, Paul’s motives are driven by a desire to push the limits of what’s possible in boxing and create unforgettable moments for fans.

Bidarian notes that Paul’s physical capabilities shouldn’t be underestimated, weighing in at 227lbs for his fight against Tyson and typically walking around at 215lbs. The right environment and framework, and Paul is eager to exceed expectations and leave fans in awe.

This development comes amid speculation about Joshua’s future in boxing. Amir Khan, a former unified light-welterweight world champion, recently advised Joshua to prioritize a highly anticipated showdown with Tyson Fury before contemplating retirement.

Khan believes Joshua would be wise to wait for the Fury fight, telling New Zealand Daily that AJ has achieved a great deal in his career, and a fight against Fury would be a remarkable way to conclude his career.

Joshua, who has earned over $200 million throughout his career, is currently recovering from injuries sustained during his loss to IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois in September. Promoter Eddie Hearn has indicated that Joshua is not expected to return to the ring until at least May 2024.
