Famed Ruler in Bauchi State Passes On at 111 Years Old
The Village Head of Beli, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa, has left an enduring legacy in Bauchi State after a remarkable 91-year reign. As the Sarakin Beli, Inuwa brought unity and peace to the community.
In an interview with Daily Trust, Inuwa once shared his fascinating journey to the throne, remarking, “My grandfather was appointed village head and served for 12 years before passing away. Our father took over, spending 17 years before I was appointed at 19. I was born around 1913, if my calculations are correct.”
