Senator Dino Melaye Vows to Take Paymasters to School in Politics
In a recent post on his social media account, Senator Dino Melaye warned the acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum, and his benefactors that they will soon be taught a lesson in politics. According to Melaye, Damagum has yet to learn from the mistakes made during the party’s primary elections in Port Harcourt and Abuja.
Melaye expressed his concerns, stating, “Umar Damagum, his paymasters will soon be taught elementary politics 101. The lessons from Port Harcourt and Abuja presidential primaries have not been learned.” He went on to say, “It’s too early to tell what the future holds, but one thing is certain, Senator Dino Melaye.”
The PDP has been embroiled in a leadership crisis since the removal of its former acting National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu. The crisis deepened further when a faction of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) suspended Damagum, along with the party’s National Publicity Secretary and National Legal Adviser.
However, the Abuja Federal High Court issued an injunction, restraining the National Executive Committee (NEC) and the PDP’s Board of Trustees (BoT) from removing Damagum as the party’s acting National Chairman.
Dino Melaye Threatens to Take Action Against Elon Musk for Harassing Kamala Harris
Musk, a strong supporter of Republican candidate Donald Trump, has been vocal in his criticism of Harris, the Democratic Party’s candidate. In a recent church service, Musk made a joke about someone trying to kill Harris, stating that no one is even bothering to try unlike Trump.
In addition to his criticism, Musk has financially supported Trump’s campaign. As of mid-October, he had transferred $43.6 million to America PAC, a group focused on winning swing states. Between July and September, Musk donated approximately $75 million to the organization.
Melaye, concerned about the momentum Musk is gaining for Trump, vowed to take drastic action if Musk does not stop harassing Harris. In a post on his social media account, Melaye stated that he would sell his Tesla and encourage his friends to do the same if Musk does not desist from his negative campaigning.
He wrote, “If Elon Musk will not stop harassing Kamala H., I will sell my Tesla and advise my friends to do the same. America should not lose her pride as the global democratic police.”
