The tumultuous relationship between Zubby Michael and Angela Okorie, two prominent figures in the Nollywood film industry, has finally been mended, thanks to the intervention of legendary actor Pete Edochie.
The rift between the two stars had been ongoing for months, with Angela revealing that their feud had even led to her declining production offers to avoid working together on set.
However, love and peace have prevailed, and the two have decided to put their differences aside. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Angela expressed her gratitude to Pete Edochie and other industry insiders who played a role in mediating their reconciliation.
Her post read: “It’s love and peace season, folks! Yesterday was a big day for my brother Zubby Michael and me. We fought, and we settled our differences, and everything ended in praise – the most important thing. I want to thank God for keeping us alive and giving us another chance to make amends.”
Angela also extended her gratitude to Pete Edochie, who she described as a “father figure” in Nollywood. She thanked him for reaching out to them and urging them to put their differences aside. She also appreciated the efforts of Mr. China, Prime World, Rockselly Movies, and several others who played a part in their reconciliation.
The actress went on to express her enthusiasm for their newfound partnership, promising to bring back exciting movies to the screens. She invited producers who had previously been declined to now consider pairing them for new projects, as they had a wealth of scripts to film together.
Her post concluded with a heartfelt message, thanking everyone involved in their reconciliation and praying for peace to reign.
