Skales publicly criticizes Dbanj over handling of Dotun’s child custody dispute

‘I Expect You To Do Better’ – Skales Berates Dbanj Over Dotun’s Child Custody Battle

Singer Skales Speaks Out in Support of Dotun in Child Custody Battle

R&B artist Skales has expressed solidarity with popular media personality Dotun, who is embroiled in a contentious child custody battle with his ex-wife Taiwo Oyebanjo.

According to reports, Dotun and Taiwo have been locked in a dispute over the care of their two daughters since their marriage ended. Dotun has repeatedly taken to social media to express his frustration at being unable to access his children.

In a recent post on his Instagram story, Skales weighed in on the situation, condemning those who are supporting the actions taken against Dotun as “evil.” He also expressed disappointment that his colleague Dbanj has not taken a stronger stance in support of his friend.

Skales wrote, “As a father, it’s heartbreaking to see what my brother Dotun is going through. If you’re supporting what’s being done to him or are part of it, then you’re evil. I expect more from Dbanj on this issue. I’ve been in a similar situation before, and it’s devastating.”

In a separate post, Skales reflected on his own career, stating that his former record label mate Wizkid had never offered him any assistance. However, he did credit his former label boss Banky W, as well as Olamide and Timaya, with helping him in the music industry. He also expressed gratitude towards Burna Boy for his support.

Skales wrote, “I want to set the record straight – only Olamide, Timaya, and Banky W have helped me in this industry. I respect Burna, and I appreciate his support. Let’s stop spreading false rumors and focus on making good music.”

One of his followers responded to the post, claiming that Wizkid was responsible for Skales’ success. However, Skales rejected this notion, stating that he respects Wizkid but has never received any help from him.
