A Politician’s Return: Adamu Bello Rejoins the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
Hon. Adamu Bello, a former Sole Administrator of Giade Local Government Area and member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, has officially rejoined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after parting ways with the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Bello’s decision was triggered by the continued support of Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, for his community. As a founding member of the APC in Bauchi State and a prominent figure in Bauchi North Senatorial District, Bello’s return to the PDP is a significant development in the state’s political landscape.
During the last general elections, Bello played a crucial role in ensuring APC’s success in Giade LGA, making his defection a significant blow to the party. However, his constituents, who have been at the forefront of his political career, urged him to join the PDP to advance their collective interests.
Bello believes that by rejoining the PDP, he can better serve his people’s needs and progress their community. He cites Governor Bala Mohammed’s commitment to the development of the region as one of the key factors in his decision, acknowledging that the governor’s leadership has been a source of hope for the people of Giade and Bauchi State.
