Put to Rest: No Suspension for Adamawa APC Gubernatorial Candidate, Binani
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has flatly denied reports claiming that its governorship candidate in Adamawa State, Senator Aishatu Ahmed, popularly known as Binani, has been suspended. Instead, the party has vowed to take drastic action against those responsible for spreading this baseless rumor.
Party officials, including Mustapha Salihu, the national vice chairman for the North East, have directed that those behind the fictional story be identified and held accountable for their actions. In a statement, the party emphasized that the rumor is likely a result of discontentment with the efforts of leaders like Nuhu Ribadu and Comrade Salihu in resolving party issues and promoting unity in the state.
A confirmation from Yola South Local Government Area has been received, confirming that Binani has not been suspended. Additionally, the party leadership under Idris Shuaibu has confirmed that Binani remains a loyal party member and a key stakeholder.
According to the party, a thorough investigation will be conducted to identify those responsible for spreading the false information and punishment will be meted out for deliberately sowing discord within the party.
