Davido Praises Odumodublvck as Nigeria’s Top Rapper
In a recent interview on The Baller Alert Show, Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Davido showered praise on his colleague, Odumodublvck, proclaiming him the biggest rapper in Nigeria.
The conversation turned to Davido’s upcoming album, which he revealed will drop in the first quarter of 2025. He also announced a new lead single, “Funds,” featuring Odumodublvck and Chike.
“I’m working on a new album that will showcase real African music,” Davido said. “I have another single coming out soon, titled ‘Funds.’ It’s featuring the current biggest rapper in Nigeria, Odumodublvck, and Chike. Chike is the Nigerian equivalent of Bryson Tiller.”
Meanwhile, Odumodublvck has asked his fans to refrain from involving him in the ongoing feud between Davido and Wizkid.
In a statement on X, the singer expressed gratitude to both artists for their contributions to his career.
He recalled how Wizkid’s support, including posting his song “Declan Rice” while he was recovering in the hospital, had a profound impact on his life and that of his family.
Odumodublvck also praised Davido for the many favors he has received from him.
He emphasized that he would never betray the trust or support of either artist and urged fans to stop trying to pit him against them.
