Finidi George, the technical adviser for Rivers United, expressed frustration over the team’s 1-1 draw with Sunshine Stars. Despite Timothy Zechariah’s opener, the team failed to convert multiple scoring opportunities, ultimately conceding an equalizing goal to Promise Awosanmi.
Finidi highlighted the importance of finishing chances effectively, stating: “We had our opportunities to capitalize on, and the result might have been different if we had converted those.
