Tackling Drama: Paulo Defends Social Media Lawyer Against Deji Over Speed Darlington’s Arrest

You’re Nothing More Than Social Media Lawyer – Paulo Tackles Deji Adeyanju Over Speed Darlington’s Arrest

Showbiz promoter Paulo Okoye, better known as Paulo, has taken aim at human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju over allegations linking Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy to the arrest of his colleague, Speed Darlington.

A recent report by Naijawebinfo revealed that Deji made the claims on social media, stating that Speed Darlington was taken into custody by police officers in Owerri, Imo state capital, on November 26.

Deji further alleged that Burna Boy was using the Nigerian police to harass his client, despite Burna Boy’s reputation for singing about resisting oppression and claiming to be the spiritual heir of Afrobeat legend Fela.

In response, Paulo criticized Deji for involving Burna Boy in the arrest on his Instagram page.

Paulo accused Deji of being unprofessional and spreading misinformation, urging him to take responsibility for his clients and verify facts before making public claims.

Paulo’s scathing post read, “Deji or whatever your name is, show some respect for Burna Boy! Why are you even mentioning his name? You’re nothing more than a social media lawyer! Get your facts straight before opening your mouth and causing a commotion. Control your client!”

In related news, the Nigeria Police Force has transferred Speed Darlington from Owerri, Imo State, to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

A reliable source informed SaharaReporters that the singer was moved from Owerri to the Police Force Intelligence Department (FID) on Wednesday.

The Deputy Inspector-General (DIG) in charge of FID, Dasuki Galadanchi, was said to have personally taken over Darlington’s case files from the police unit that arrested him before.
