A statement from the Police Commissioner, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, revealed that detectives from the Dei-Dei ‘B’ Division apprehended at least four suspected armed robbers in a daring raid.
The operation, strategically planned and executed based on reliable intelligence, was part of a larger effort to disrupt the activities of criminal groups operating in the area.

In addition to the arrests, law enforcement officials seized a range of illicit items, including firearms, counterfeit currency, and controlled substances. The raid also uncovered a stash of dried leaves believed to be Indian hemp.
During the interrogation, one of the suspects, Ismail Tasiu, also known as Old School, revealed that he had been operating in the area for over a decade. Another suspect, Nura Halilu, confessed to being part of an armed robbery and drug trafficking syndicate led by a fugitive identified as Murtala.
