Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo fires back at social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, aka Verydarkman, calling out his mother for her alleged failures
In a scathing post on her Instagram page, Iyabo Ojo expressed her disappointment and concern over the toxic behavior exhibited by Martins Vincent Otse, better known as Verydarkman. She attributes his narcissistic and manipulative nature to his lack of love, care, and stability during his childhood.
Iyabo Ojo suggests that his mother’s inability to provide a nurturing environment led to unresolved anger and pain in her son, which has manifested in his constant attacks on successful individuals and his own struggles with identity.
She points out that his mother’s dependence on her ex-husband and failure to provide for her child’s needs have contributed to his negative behavior. Iyabo Ojo even questions whether DNA tests were conducted to establish paternity, hinting at the possibility of uncertainty surrounding the child’s parentage.
The actress also notes that Verydarkman is prone to sabotaging reputations to gain attention and relevance, citing his obsessive fixation on Iyabo Ojo as evidence.
In a poignant message, Iyabo Ojo urges Verydarkman to seek healing and forgiveness for his parents, suggesting that this will help him find peace and release the hate and anger that has consumed him.
Iyabo Ojo writes: “Vincent, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of your behavior, and it’s quite sad. It seems like your upbringing lacked love, care, and stability. This has led to unresolved anger and pain. Instead of directing your anger towards those responsible, you’ve chosen to lash out at successful people. Your anger and frustration are misplaced, and it’s time to acknowledge the root cause.”
She continues: “Your story is filled with trauma, from having to fend for yourself as a child to almost being lynched for stealing. Why did your mother allow this to happen? What was her role in your life? Was she not working before your father left? Did she cheat? Did she not make an effort to provide for your needs?”
Iyabo Ojo concludes by urging Verydarkman to take responsibility for his actions and to stop projecting his negative emotions onto others. She encourages him to seek forgiveness and healing, hoping that this will bring him peace and allow him to move forward.
