Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, Unfazed by Election Agitations
Naijawebinfo reports that Governor Oyebanji spoke at the monthly Evening of Praise and Worship at the Jibowu Hall, Government House Ground, in Ado Ekiti, on Friday night.
Oyebanji expressed his commitment to good governance and fulfilling his electoral promises, dismissing concerns from politicians about the 2026 governorship election. He emphasized that he wouldn’t lose sleep over the election, attributing his administration’s progress to divine intervention.
With confidence in God’s ability to work out things in his favor, Oyebanji pointed out that God, who had helped him in the past, would do so again in 2026. He emphasized that his focus remains on delivering good governance and fulfilling his promises to the people of Ekiti.
Oyebanji believes that God’s plan supersedes any human agenda, and that his political future is in God’s hands. He urged politicians to stop sending him anxious text messages, assuring them that God is in control of everything, including the 2026 election.
The governor emphasized that God will take care of everything, and that those worried about the election should focus on their work rather than bothering him with daily text messages. He reiterated that God, who had helped him in the past, will do so again, and that nothing will stop his peace because he serves the God of peace.
