Skales Reveals Wizkid Never Liked Him
Naijawebinfo has reported that Nigerian singer, Skales, recently shared his thoughts on his past feud with Wizkid during an episode of the ‘Listen’ podcast.
According to Skales, the ‘Shake Body’ crooner has always sensed a negative energy from Wizkid, which has led him to believe that his colleague never liked him.
The tension between the two musicians escalated on social media when Wizkid responded to a tweet from Skales, insulting his parents.
Skales explained that he tried to make amends with Wizkid, but his efforts were met with resistance.
He recalled the incident, saying, “I’ve always felt that Wizkid didn’t like me. I don’t know why, but there have been times when he’s shown his dislike for me.”
“I remember a Twitter Q&A session where someone asked about Wizkid, and I jokingly replied that he didn’t have my attention anymore. Wizkid responded by insulting me, my father, and my mother. That showed me that he probably had me in mind.”
Skales also mentioned that Wizkid accused him of wearing fake jewelry, and that his ex-girlfriend responded to the insults instead of him.
Skales said he chooses not to engage in battles that would lead to people believing false accusations. He believes that if he were to respond, people would assume he’s jealous of Wizkid’s success.
Skales is convinced that Wizkid never liked him and that his attempts to make peace were unsuccessful. He firmly stated, “I know for a fact that he didn’t like me.”
