Pastor Detained over ₦1.5 Billion Fraud Allegations
The lead pastor of the Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), Bolaji Idowu, is currently behind bars at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja, facing allegations of real estate fraud and money laundering totalling ₦1.5 billion.
According to sources, Pastor Idowu was taken into custody following an investigation into allegations of fraudulent activities by one of his pastors, who allegedly scammed several individuals in a real estate scheme. The police investigation uncovered a web of deceit, with significant sums of money being traced to the pastor’s church and personal accounts.
