Galatasaray President Discusses Osimhen’s Career Path

Victor Osimhen Reveals Why He Is Doing Well At Galatasaray

Galatasaray’s President Confident Victor Osimhen Will Stay Despite January Transfer Rumors

Galatasaray’s president, Dursun Özbek, has made it clear that highly sought-after striker Victor Osimhen will not be forced to leave the club during the upcoming January transfer window. Özbek’s statement comes as a surprise, given the intense interest from top European clubs such as Manchester United.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a loan deal from Napoli in September, bringing significant firepower to the team’s attacking options. However, a clause in his loan contract allows him to seek a transfer to another club in January, sparking speculation about his future.

Despite the growing interest from top clubs, Özbek is confident that Osimhen will choose to stay with Galatasaray for the remainder of the season.

In an interview with A Spor, Özbek stressed, “Osimhen is our player for the season. A challenging clause in his contract would allow him to leave at mid-season, but according to our agreement, he is committed to playing for us until the end of the season.”

Özbek emphasized that the final decision regarding Osimhen’s future lies in the player’s hands, saying, “No one should pressure him. He will make his own decision at the end of the season. If he wishes to continue at Galatasaray, he is welcome to do so.”
