Harvesters International Christian Center’s Lead Pastor, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, Addresses ₦1.5bn Fraud Allegations
Naijawebinfo reported that Pastor Idowu was taken into custody and questioned by the police regarding allegations of real estate fraud and money laundering.
During his “Next Level Prayers” session on Wednesday, Pastor Bolaji cleared the air on the allegations, stating that he has no involvement in real estate dealings and does not own any properties in Nigeria.
The clergy further dismissed claims of receiving large financial deposits, including billions of naira, into his accounts, and invited the public to verify the information by checking his account records.
He emphasized, “I do not have any property in Nigeria apart from the one inherited from my late parents. I am not in the business of buying or selling properties.”
Pastor Bolaji also refuted claims of receiving massive financial deposits, stating, “My account is public; anyone can check if I have ever received such amounts. I did not.”
In a message of gratitude to his supporters, Pastor Bolaji expressed his appreciation for the outpouring of love and encouragement, and remained undeterred by the controversy.
He said, “I want to thank all of you that showed a lot of love. We are victorious, as you are reading it, I’m also reading it, like wow.”
